Ihave been outside!! I know, crazy talk. I had a little trip to the coast and took a picture of the sea.
The rocky path to the sea…
Thankfully I did not break any bones whilst traversing the rocks. Though I did have an altercation with a seagull, which I turned to stone…. using superglue, obviously.
Turned to stone….
Meanwhile, back in the studio I am bordering on prolific as I have made another one of these….
It’s raw here…
Inspired by the icy weather at the weekend, I cut up some more vintage books to illustrate how I was feeling, and recycled a blog comment – we shouldn’t simply throw them away, should we? They will probably cause mayhem in the future if left abandoned all over the Blogosphere – think of the bots choking on the code!!
Keep your trousers on!!!
And, I decided my avatar would look fetching on a stamp….
Okay, Mr Devine, you can stop holding your breath now….
How snotty does this line sound:-
…..actually I do write every day, but I choose not to share.
How rude!!! [It is from my previous post] I did not intend to be rude. Or snotty. Or anything in particular. We all choose what we share, usually the best bits, but today I am going to show you that you’re not missing anything exciting from me by sharing a page from my journal. ‘Journal’ makes it sound like I am penning intense, thoughtful thoughts; that I am secretly being philosophical; that I am sat beneath a willow tree on a summer’s day wearing a billowing white frock, and seeking inspiration from cloud formations. I am not. I am instead recording that I had fish finger sandwiches for tea….
….or Codfanglers, as Mistress Maddie would call them. Also worth noting is that when left to my own devices I spell ‘recommend’ quite differently to how I do when I’m typing, there may have been an ‘a’ in there somewhere. It was early, whatever.
In my next post I will be bringing you my notes from a visit to an art gallery; a shopping list; and an example of extreme fandom – all in the interests of sharing. Bet you can’t wait.
Ifell over again! This time a not so innocent young dog WAS involved in my downfall. My knees are black, blue, light ochre, mauve, and there are also unseasonal shades of orange, but this might be to do with an ink spillage.
AND I AM FED UP. I am fed up with the weather. I feel as if I’m a character living within a cartoon and every time I leave my cartoon house another character comes along and throws an enormous bucket of water over me and then the whole audience watching the cartoon fall about laughing as I stand there dripping from eyelash to well manicured toenail. FED UP I tell you.
Meanwhile, I have completed ONE Loopy Letter. I have written about it on my Loopy Letter website. But, I am fed up with myself for not getting more done. It is an awkward time of year for me though, what with being preoccupied with towels, and hair dryers, and trying to stop the mud from coming through the front door. And when I am not doing battle with what other people fondly refer to as ‘the outside’ I am feeding a wood burning stove a large chunk of forest. Do you know how much dust a wood burner makes???? It looks so cosy on Pinterest – stylish, clean, tidy. The reality is a thick coat of dust over everything, and chips of wood and sawdust trodden into rugs and carpets. Apologies, I am whingeing.
Anyhow, here is a snippet of my first Loopy Letter…..
First Loopy Letter….
