All Quiet…..

Sshhhhhh….. all the bloggers are sleeping, except for dear Jon – who is entertaining me with Blue Peter presenters and Postmodern Jukebox vibes, and lovely Mr Swings – who likes to share his dinners. It is quiet out there.

And what do I have to offer? Insightful views on Brexit? Non. My opinion on bralets? Oui, trés bon. Gilding antics? Yes!

Finally…something on its way to Savannah.

Tiny bears? Yes, I have tiny bears!!

Here’s one I made earlier….

And, I have a big blue autumnal sky over Devon….

Big sky….

I will finish with a random comment left on a vintage Scarlet Blue post back in 2011.

So glad the knickers will be clean.
I remember being quite taken by the Borg, especially at Wimbledon in the late 70s.

It’s a very big sky in Devon….! My Saturday was destroyed by an Apple related incident. There was a major meltdown. I will be trying to catch up with all things Divine later on today. Thank you, Jon!

“Hello? Hello?! What’s going on here? What’s all this shouting? This is a local blog for local people! There’s nothing for you here-”
Oh. Sorry. You woke me up. I see 2018 has a contender for the “Something Blue” category in the end of the year’s Coven Awards? And the gilding is lovely – Lucky Savvy!

P.S. I’ve just read that Bralet article, too. Although I doubt it’ll cause nightmares like the Borg did, Swedish or otherwise.

Yep! I am a proud local blog, Mr Devine!
I think this may well be a bigger blue sky than my last award winning big sky…. how am I going to top in in 2019?

    Brexit? An ever-expanding omnishambles.
Bralettes? About time too. Death to underwires!
    Tiny bears? They’re cute.
    Blue skies? There aren’t enough.
    Clean knickers? Recommended.

Charmaine!!!! Yes, Nick, where the hell is Charmaine??? I really ought to find out.
I am so sick of Brexit, and all the other news. I want to turn it all off and make it go away.

Thank you, Mr Swings! In truth when I am traipsing along the lanes I can almost forget about everything, [even oncoming traffic] and it is a joy to switch off. The hideous Apple related incident may make me switch off even more.

I once made a bear using salt dough but something went wrong in the oven or that I used self raising flour, anyway it came out looking like a pile of horse shit with legs, I wrapped it up and gave it to my mother for a Christmas present she used it as a door stop for years.
Anyway must dash, I’m on death watch duty, Great Aunt Alice.

Did you post about the salt dough bear, Mitzi? It rings a bell – anyhow I’m sure you can find a market on Etsy for your salt dough creations – add some ribbon and some fancy packaging and you’ll be good to go.
      My best to Aunt Alice!

There are still incomprehensible mumblings emanating from my little corner of the blogosphere, concerning Harrison Birtwistle today. Along the lines of “who he?” for the most part. It does, however, seem quiet, so shiny letters, blue skies, clean smalls and tiny bears are all welcome. Makes a blessed change from that Brexit farce, that’s for sure.

I am so sick of Brexit, Mr Batarde. I knew this would happen, I knew it would be in the news forever and ever. I wish it would stop. Perhaps Sean Walsh can get off with somebody else on Strictly so that we can have some respite.

There are so many more topics to think about than the “important” news of the day. However, if I was decades younger the trend in bras would be more noticeable to me.
Clean knickers – always good for a comment.

Bill – I only noticed the bralet article because I threw out most of my underwires at the beginning of the year. I thought I was settling for comfy attire because I was getting older. How chuffed I am to discover that this is what all the bright young things are doing too! I still have my finger on the pulse…and I can also breathe a bit better.

Monsieur Pain – Do you have all this Brexit talk in the US as well??? Good grief, is nowhere safe??? Then again Trump is always in our news so I guess it’s a fair exchange.

I’m lost. I played your favourites – some of which I didn’t know- the first for instance and I loved his rich voice. The second had me marvelling at the beauty of those brothers. 3 and 4 reminded me of the sixties. Amy and David have always been favourites. inxs made me prick up my ears. The last one I actually knew and loved the brilliant video. Thank you.
I also saw a charming picture of you and you were exactly as I imagined you. Sorry to get lost.
