Not A Post

Attention! This is not a post! This is just a short note to relieve Mr Devine and Mitzi of an oversized Aidan Turner, I’m sure they are both weary of the sideboard invasion.

Meanwhile, here is photographic evidence of a glimmer of hope:-

I will be back with my long awaited 1938 post BY THE END OF THE WEEK. I think I might have built it up to be much more than it is. I hope I haven’t got it muddled with 1937? Hey ho. I will also be resuming my blogging rounds from tomorrow.

Anyhow, this is not a post, blah, blah, blah….

Please carry on with whatever you were doing before this interruption.

But I rather liked the oversized Aidan Turner – My Sideboard has never looked so good!

I snapped a rainbow at the end of Cromer Pier the other day, but it wasn’t a patch on yours. More like a blurry smudge of light.

P.S. All these “This is not…” comments have amused me no end. Thank you, everyone!

Mr Devine, rest assured you will have another Aidan invasion in the near future!
The thing with photos of rainbows is that they never look as good as in real life. This one had me agog for about 20 minutes – amazing how the light kept changing.

Gotcha, this is not a post. And of course this is not a comment. And my name is not Cedric Spitbottle. And today is not St Swithins Day. Any contradictions will be severely dealt with.

I’m panting with anticipation regarding the up-coming 1938 post. Will I need dark glasses? Or a fresh packet of Werthers Originals?

Nick – Re 1938 – you will probably need to be sitting down, and you might need some equipment to retrieve your jaw from the floor.

Je suis un tuyau? Non, je suis un bagage assoupi qui se fie à Google translate pour écrire en français. Je pense que je préfère mes commentaires en français car ils ont l’air réfléchis, philosophiques et beaucoup plus jolis.

Mr Auty – There are two things I have learnt from this post – 1] People do not seem to mind being interrupted, and, 2] People are okay with Aidan’s enormousness. I shall bear this in mind for future posts.

“I was dreamin’ when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray….
So tonight I’m gonna party like it’s nineteen ninety-nine….”

1938 post?? Does this mean you will soon be posting like it’s 1999?
Hey that’s a great rainbow. I wish we could find the ends of these rainbows.

    This is not AIDAN.

BTW, do you know that at the end of the rainbow a pot of gold is burried ? Did you try it ? MAybe you already vanished in 1938 because of a muddle in the space-time-continuum at the rainbow’s end ? Did you hear that some guy cleared the shelves in an American university and found Garland’s dress ? They put in a museum, next to her shoes. What does this say about that nations culture ? It’s a bit like the Marlene museum in Berlin. Is it the definte triumph of commerce or a hommage to an artist ?
I can’t help, I think it is the definite hommage to a commercial product, kind of dance around that golden thing, a sin against commandment one. But even the fairiest rainbow is built on gold.

Cheeky mare! We will discover more about 1938 soon. I have been coping with weather and don’t want to drip sweat on my keyboard. Thank you, Mitzi, for sharing.

I like rainbows. There’s always hope but sometimes it’s harder to find than others. This is not toxic positivity
