Trying to Flourish….

I was tired of staring into space, my hands were restless and needed something to do. They were also far too clean – where were the ink stains and tacky bits of glue? And so, I picked up my nibs and tried to write again….

And lo, I managed to write 50 words without referring to my toothache, or embedding a weird video about asbestos…. things were definitely moving in the right direction, until……

Jon – I love a good cliff hanger – although mine probably isn’t one of them!

P.S There should be a joke about Cliff Hanger and Bill Posters meeting in a pub, but I’m not clever enough to dream one up.

Good to see you don’t have your teeth in the post. Also for future reference, I’m just fine with finding weird asbestos videos on my own.
    Your letters do flourish.

Thank you, Bill! Yes, I am bored with my teeth – I think it’s time to move on. They will either fall out or stay in, but the good news is that I have found nutritious food to keep me going that doesn’t cause the tooth any problems.

and? what happened? what’s next (in your world, I mean) (I don’t ask any more around here because nothing good ever comes from it thanks to Trumpito!) I truly love seeing your calligraphy! You are a wonder, sugar! xoxo

    Savvy – Thank you!
What’s next? In my little world – more calligraphy! Less scary news!! NO TRUMP!!! He is in my banned cupboard, along with Pamela Anderson.

Bill – Poor Pam, she did nothing to be put in the banned cupboard! I think her inclusion came about due to a little banter between me and Mr Lax from a couple of years ago.

As another Canadian Pam, I am curious about the banter between you and LX regarding her. Also, your letters are gorgeous; I am happy that you’ve found ways to keep that tooth settled, and hope you can get your mojo rolling again with ink and glue. xoxo

Thank you, Ponita! I will have to wade through my blog to find the banter. I miss Mr Lax – we enjoyed some silliness along the way, bless him.
My mojo is a bit stop and start – I’m hoping to find 2nd gear before the end of the year!

Wasn’t she making special trips to visit the Wikileaks fella Edward Snowden in the Bolivian Embassy for shag recently? Almost as odd a pairing as Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch, I’d say! Jx

My “good” memory is very deceptive. I can remember no end of very specific, arcane, and “useless” information (and a lot of blog stuff), but “important” things, news, TV programmes/films, books I’ve just seen/read, conversations with people, all seem to disappear into the ether before they make any impression on my memory…

Mr Devine – at least you remember something. My memory is a hazy disjointed jumble; I need some of those calligraphy beads to stick it all together.

      Oof! Here I am!

This “holiday” has been one thing after another – enough to keep me away from the blog, anyway.
I’m very happy to see a Ms Scarlet post on my return, though. Very happy indeed. Even though it is a cliff hanger. The “Until…” wasn’t: “my dentist rang to say their practice is now asbestos-free so I can come in for a check-up” was it?

P.S. Lovely writing. I particularly like the little “beads” threaded onto the flourishes.

until the afore ot mentioned tooth exploded into a cloud of fairy floss and started spilling rainbow candy out of your mouth and down your shirt, onto the flourishes…..

I’m utterly flattered by your flourishes, more so that it was done in the teeth of great difficulty. Thank you so much Ms S. Now let’s start on the difficult part — following good advice. X

Oh yes, I’ve seen that one. It’s wonderful, I like how Brody describes writing on the different surfaces – it’s just how it is. I must remember to see the third episode.

Mr Ducks – All I can say is that I discovered the therapeutic properties of whiskey – spit don’t swallow [how cruel is that?]!
But yes, the cliffhanger has sort of hanged me – I will move on when everyone has forgotten it was there, which was probably last Thursday.

Good morning, Dave Stories! I imagine you are sleeping it off now – SOME OF US HAVE BEEN UP SINCE 4AM!! I have no idea why I typed that in capitals, maybe I am envious of those who are sleeping? Anyhow, thank you for the kind invitation, yes, coffee would be lovely – sometime in the distant future maybe? Take care, and remember you are never alone on a blog.

So, darling, what’s about all that “flourishing” now ? Is i done already ? Are some wrinkly leaves left ? I think I have to go and search for some greenery for IDVs Infomaniac moment, when he’ll expose it all.
